Uncovering Paris

Being born and raised in Paris has given Muriel, our co-founder, an early appreciation and passion for architecture, the arts and all rituals surrounding food. Having just returned to the source of her inspiration, Muriel shares her favourite finds.

Bourse de Commerce
Originally built in the 18th century for grain storage, what was once known as the Commodities Exchange during the late 20th century, Bourse de Commerce has been spatially transformed by Tadao Ando to house part of Francois Pineault’s expansive art collection. Here you can experience an exceptional ensemble of over 10,000 works by almost 400 artists, in a variety of media, displayed against a stunning architectural backdrop of the circular neoclassical building with its new inset concrete cylinder, under a glass copper dome.

Atelier Brancusi
Known as the “ patriarch of modern sculpture”, Constantin Brancusi willed his studio — where he worked and lived — to the French government under the condition it be preserved as it was during his life. Reconstructed by architect Renzo Piano, Atelier Brancusi allows for an intimate look into his workshop, tools and living quarters. Don’t miss out on experiencing the beauty of Brancusi’s oeuvre up close and personal — a great source of inspiration in our work and life.

drink
Le Roch Bar
End the night with high spirits in this stylish and exquisite bar within Le Roch Hotel. Stay for the drinks and food but linger to appreciate the elegant decor — dark jewel-tone velvet fabrics complement marble tabletops, striking gold light fixtures and dramatic printed textiles — designed by Parisian architect and interior designer Sarah Lavoine.
