We have been traveling to Picton for the last 5 years while working on The Royal Hotel — and have been so inspired by the county, the food and its people, that we decided to share all we have lived and loved.

- The Royal Hotel
- Dating back to 1879, The Royal has been lovingly restored by a local family, reimagined for today’s traveller while honouring its strong history in the community. Designed by architects GPAIA, the hotel consists of a main building with 28 guest rooms and 5 apartment style suites in the adjacent Royal Annex building. - Parsons Brewing Company
- A family-owned and operated Craft Brewery in the heart of Prince Edward County. Visit their taproom to sample a pint from their extensive beer list while munching on snacks with a South American flair. Come early as summer months can have long line ups. Local cider, wine and non alcoholic drinks are also available.
- Closson Chase Vineyard
- Closson Chase is a quality-driven winery that helped spearhead the birth of the Prince Edward County wine industry, using centuries-old European traditions & sustainable, innovative techniques to create world-class wines using only the finest Chardonnay, Pinot Noir & Pinot Gris grapes. - Kinsip
- Kinsip House of Fine Spirits is a farm-based, grain-to-glass distillery rooted in an appreciation of family and the fulfillment found in building community. Their products are all fermented, distilled, and aged onsite with care. Make sure to try their Kinsip Maple Whiskey during your spirit tasting.

- Bocado Restaurant
- Located at 252 Main Street in Picton, Bocado serves seasonal Spanish-inspired food, cocktails and regional wines. Great for gatherings and sharing plates, the space is warm and energetic.
- Stella’s Eatery
- Keeping things simple and good, Chef Leah prepares comfort food inspired by the fresh and seasonal ingredients sourced from local farmers and suppliers. The chalkboard-style menu allows her to change things up with the seasons and is subject to the availability of local, foraged, and seasonal ingredients.

- Atelier du Presbytere
- French designers and makers since 1996, Francoise and Thierry moved to The County from Provence to set up their textile studio. Atelier du presbytere offers exceptionally made clothing and soft homewares from 100% French linen– all made by hand by only the two of them. Open June to October.
- Kokito
- Kokito is a purveyor of beautiful everyday objects with an emphasis on Canadian design and lakeside living. With two locations in The County, peruse handblown glassware, wool blankets and much more.
- Friday Cannabis
- Fridays is a boutique, apothecary style retail cannabis store, locally owned and operated. From the novice user to the cannabis connoisseur, the staff at Fridays are always friendly, knowledgeable and available to walk you through any products.

- Known for her landscape photography imbued with abstract elements–creating works of art that exist in between two mediums– catch Christine Flynn’s personal love letter to Prince Edward County in PEC PROJECT. Each large-scale, limited edition, mixed media piece in the series represents a part of Christine’s home, a photographic narrative of her daily explorations in and around The County. Natural beauty brought further to life through her signature abstract forms and gilded accents, float framed in natural oak wood frames.
