UNCOVERING PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY

We have been traveling to Picton for the last 5 years while working on The Royal Hotel — and have been so inspired by the county, the food and its people, that we decided to share all we have lived and loved.

stay
The Royal Hotel
Dating back to 1879, The Royal has been lovingly restored by a local family, reimagined for today’s traveller while honouring its strong history in the community. A stone’s throw from picturesque wineries, charming restaurants and idyllic natural attractions, The Royal is the ideal jumping-off point for exploring everything that makes The County special. Designed by architects GPAIA, the hotel consists of a main building with 28 guest rooms and 5 apartment style suites in the adjacent Royal Annex building. Don’t forget to take advantage of exceptional food here as their kitchen is led by Chef Albert Ponzo.
